JBS metal packaging grows 50% in volume production of large cans in 2016

The line of big cans of food presented in metal packagings JBS cumulative 2016, 50% growth in production volume compared to the same period last year. Considering only the volume marketed with JBS meats, the advance was of 20%. The expressive performance translates the business growth of steel packaging both within the company and for external clients.
The big cans used by JBS have as destination meet export industrialized area of the company to the markets of Europe and the United States. For the European market, the increase demonstrates a change of customer consumption profile of JBS, which are using more modern packaging with higher possibility of easing to the final consumer to receive the product in larger cans: can porcioná them and sell them in smaller packages to better meet the demand of local consumption. With respect to the North American market, the growth is due to the increased consumption of food "texmex" (Mexican).
JBS metallic packaging is one of the largest producers of the country in its segment. With production plants in Lins and Barretos, São Paulo, the business unit provides cans to package products designed to offer protection against physical, chemical and biological actions, both for food products as a line of aerosol to various segments.
