Cacauicultores seek fitness for import of cocoa

The representative institutions of the Bahia cocoa producers, namely, Association of Cocoa Producers (APC) APC Coooperativa, Think Cocoa Institute (IPC), we''re all Cocoa (STC), in defence of property (UDP), Rural Unions of black pottery, Camacan and Islets, along with the President of the National cocoa sector Chamber, Guilherme Moura, participated in a meeting at the Ministry of agriculture , Livestock and food supply (MAPA) to treat the fitness required for import of cocoa by the milling industry. Representatives believe that there should be a warning to 2015/2016 technical note which was coordinated by Catherine Chowhan, Adab, in conjunction with the CEPLAC and the Defence Council Moniliasis and producers, who warns of the risks of importation on the part of the MAP, in order to ensure the health of the country''s cocoa plantations.
