Price of gas disrupts series of falls after reset of Petrobras

RIO DE JANEIRO-the average price of gasoline in Brazil''s rose this week after Petrobras increase the price of fossil fuel in refineries in April 21, while the diesel also increased and ethanol retreated, published industry-oil regulatory agency (ANP) said Friday. The average price of gasoline rose 0.13 percent this week compared with the week before, for actual 3.631 per litre, interrupting a series of falls that took the average price to a minimum weekly more than a year and four months last week. Hydrated ethanol fell 0,15% this week, to actual 2.611 per liter, according to the PNA, in front of a larger number of plants in operation at the beginning of the sugar cane milling in the Center-South of Brazil. The price of diesel at the pump, for your time, rose 0,1% the real 3.015 per litre. In your last reset, Petrobras has decided to increase the price of diesel at refineries in 4,3% and in 2,2% gasoline, on average. According to Petrobras, the decision was mainly due to rising prices of derivatives in international markets, in addition to adjustments in competitiveness in the internal market.
