Covers opera bullish expectations of maintaining stocks in London

Copper futures contracts operate in high light this morning (6), influenced by the expectation of maintenance of stocks of the metal on the London Metal Exchange (LME). Earlier, a tonne of copper for three months on the LME climbed 0.19%, to $ $5,860.50. The metal for September delivery advanced 0.08%, to $ $2.6625 per pound. According to data of the LME, there were a total of 58000 tons stockpiled under warranty on the LME. The level is the same as the day before. "No increase today and so there''s a bit of relief in the market," said Carsten Menke, commodities analyst of Julius Baer. Among the other base metals traded on the LME, a ton of aluminum rose 0.57%, to $ $1,942.00, of zinc increased 0.50%, to $ $2,791.00; and the lead advanced 0.40%, to $ $2,286.00.
