Prices slows in three of the seven surveyed capital

The consumer price index-weekly (IPC-S), calculated by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), slowed down in three of the seven surveyed capitals on Wednesday August quadrissemana before the third measurement of the month, the institution announced yesterday (2). Already high was in Brasília (-0.38% to-0.19%), Belo Horizonte (0.14% to 0 20%), Recife (0.11% to 0.19%) and Rio de Janeiro (0.07% to 0 12%). Sao Paulo yesterday, the Economic Research Institute Foundation (Fipe) reported that the consumer price index (CPI), which measures inflation in Sao Paulo, climbed 0.41% in August, gaining strength against the high of 0.23 percent recorded in July and also in relation to third quadrissemana of August, when the advance was of 0.37%.
